Chapter 9: Nothing Lasts Forever

Hi There!

Thanks for visiting my "Love At First Sight" blog and giving it your love. I am happy to announce that I am in the process of restructuring / rewriting the entire story to take it to the next level and have it published as a novel. For that purpose, unfortunately I have to take the blog posts down. I hope you would understand 😊

If you are visiting this blog for the first time, then please wait for my novel to get published and read it then.

Regular followers, if you are missing Disha and Anirudh, they will be back soon. And it wouldn’t matter if you have already read their love story, I’ll make sure to add a lot more narration and new events in the book. For all that, I definitely need your good wishes and support.

Much love!!
-Anu

  3. See you again followed my story, just kidding but I expressed my feeling in a big argument like the same way Anirudh did. I felt you heart was time travelling to younger age to feel every minute things that happened during college days. I don't have any words to describe the way you portrait the love between Disha and Anirudh. It was a very very cute. When will you publish this as novel?

One would understand below lines when they felt
"I never understood the meaning of ‘heartbroken’ before, and I always thought that breakups were overrated"

Most painful line “Anirudh, I.. Do.. Not.. Love.. You!”

Hope this is only an interval, unlike me Anirudh will over come his situation.

Thanks again for bringing back the memories .

  6. This chapter makes this story even more real than it already is. This is the main reason why many girls don't get into relationships and you have penned it down very thoughtfully. Whatever happens, happens for our good. 💙 I love them both till their souls stay connected, which is Forever.

  7. Wowww fa---boooo-lous. Very well narrated. The middle part was very painful. Each and every chapter is so well connected. The way you write creates an automatic interest and make me waiting for your next chapter. The ending should not be sad. Please bring a twist and hoping there should be a happy ending... Happy ending could do justice to this love story. Hope you will do justice

  8. I hope to see them together after completing BTEC

  11. This is the toughest part of every love story when your mind and heart pull you in different directions. We all wish for happy endings but the path will be very tough and only pure love will win at the end.

I like this turn in the story but let's not settle with anything but HAPPY ENDING 😊

    1. Hey Vaibhav, thanks for sharing your perspective. I totally agree to what you said.

A lot of relations do not survive even when it's pure love. And I feel this is the biggest sacrifice people do for their families, without even letting them know about it.

  13. Fantabulous story .
The end was heartbreaking but I guess that was the best possible climax. Each and every chapter was so well written and
connected.everyone reading must have related with the characters and content deeply. Some love stories are always incomplete .....kisi ne Kaha hai "ye muhhabat hai saheb isey adhoora hi rehne dijiye, jo poori Ho gayi toh bhula di jaayegi. "
Big congratulations to you my dear and all the best. 💕😘😘😘👍👍

  15. To me, this chapter started with wide smile and big eyes with the dance routine happening. As I went ahead it made me so upset. Never pictured their break off. I am wondering why lovely people have to suffer.. there were these lines from a song going in my mind the entire time.. " Ishq sachcha wahi jisko milti nahi manzilein.... Hamari adhuri kahani.... "..
Disha not only broke Anirudh's heart, she crushed me too..
Splendid writing.... I could feel the pain which Anirudh would have gone through.... Dear writer, plz show some mercy on the couple in the coming write up..

    Cheers

  17. As much as I loved all the previous chapters, I want to tell you Anu that I hate you for doing this to me or to us. How could you break them apart? This was the best thing from last 3 months in my life. And now I am crying for them ;( ;(

Hope this is not the end. Hope you are already writing a beautiful new chapter where they will patch up after this fight.

Please explain to disha that he was not objectifying her. he is very possessive of her.
And can you kill pulkit in your next chapter?

  18. Really.. really upset after reading this....bus I request you not to end it with sad node....but definitely it was touching part....but at the same time I do agree that in 90% cases...it happens...on lighter node...one small break up is needed for big and deep patch up❤️...praying for Disha and Anirudh's togetherness and something exciting in next...

    1. Yes Seema totally agree.. but I think Disha should have taken a leap of faith leaving things on future. Her immature decision was quite selfish on her part.

      Next chapter - let's see...

  19. My first reaction was JESUS omg and then I consoled myself saying okay, yeah they'll get back together. They have to. There's no way they can't.
But then I realised not all real life stories end like that. Sometimes True Love exists in your life, just not with you. And that's a harsh reality.

So, Anu, however you wish to continue, keep them together or apart, just don't keep them sad otherwise I wouldn't be able to stop crying.

  20. This part showed the forcedness of every Indian girl in our society..
Anu u showed the reality of our lives ...that we can't choose what we want ...

  22. I took some time (from the day you've published) to comment on this because I was literally connected with Disha,
    1. You described how a girl face issues in her life to live normal through Disha Character where she had to face Pulkit after performance
    2. You showed how a Brother should be through Gaurav
    3. How everyone's first Love ends through story
    4. How a person will sacrifice everything for love and stand for his girl through Anirudh
    5. How a friend should be through Neeti
    6. How everyone need to accept the situations through this "Chapter 9 - Nothing Lasts Forever"

I may not accept the truth that this story ends with Tragedy because in real life 99.999% its a sad ending, at least we expect (I expected) a happy ending in story. But as usual you showed reality.

Love you Anu because I fell in Love with Love at First sight & with Disha and Anirudh just because of you.

Loads of Love for you dear.

  26. It started with slow pace of dance rehearsal but later took a pace of some hit movies like "Jaan Tere Naam" where you starts enjoying every bit of that. I can’t understand the girl’s emotions where family things came into play to an extend where they can stop her studies but I can totally understand the emotions of both the guys where one guy has crossed his limits. Somehow this Pulkit guy face is appearing as “Gulsan Grover” of old “Dilwale” movie to me. The scene where Disha is telling NO to our Hero, reminds me the scene where Karishma Kapoor is telling NO to “Sunny Deol” in the movie “Jeet”. If the story would have been there where the guy proposing to a girl and in the following week proposing to another girl of different branch which resulted him to no talking terms with the first one, I would have liked to time travel in the past 😉.
How can be Disha 5’5’’ ?
Did our Gulsan Grover actually told “You Rascal. Now you are gone.” OR some lines from “Mirzapur” or “Wasseypur” 😉 ?
What were there in the gift packets as just curious to know the gifts that can be given to a girl?
